3. Follow manufacturer’s directions to cover a ½" button with pink solid. Referring to placement diagram, sew the button to Santa’s face for a nose, overlapping the top of the mustache.

4. Sew two black buttons on Santa’s face for eyes and the lime green button to center of Santa’s belt.

Wreath Panel

1. Trace the Bow 3 pattern onto the wrong side of the E rectangle positioning it on one half of the rectangle. Fold fabric in half, right sides together with drawn shape on top. Pin to a scrap of batting. Sew all around on pattern line.

2. Cut out ¼" from seam. Trim batting close to seam and clip curves. Cut a slash through one fabric layer only and turn right side out. Whipstitch the slash edges together and press. Quilt lines through the center of the bow for texture as shown in Figure 8.
