Branch Cutters

They are generally used to cut pencil-thin branches, commonly on thinner conifers and deciduous trees. There are three kinds of branch cutters, these includes: hybrid branch cutter, flat branch cutter and concave branch cutter.

The hybrid branch cutter operates as both the flat branch cutter and the concave branch cutter. The hybrid branch cutter can be a little hard to operate, but with a little practice you should get used to operating it.

The flat branch cutter has edges that are flat, it operates like the pruners, and it is also used for cutting neat branches that are nearer to the stem.

The concave branch cutter is used for trimming branch stubs on the stalk, nearer to the stalk. It has a bent cutting edging. Concave branch cutters are also used to peel wood that should be removed.
