He was covered in cold water from the stream, which ran from his curly hair onto the floor of the cave. “Brr!” went Bobbo “Brr! Brr!”

Mommy Bear returned after a little while. Between her teeth, she had a big piece of honeycomb, ripped from a beehive on a tree.

“Brr!” went Bobbo.

“What are you doing there, so wet and shivering?” asked Mommy Bear, setting the honeycomb on the ground, and licking Bobbo.

“Brr!”

“Where were you, Bobbo? asked mommy, while she pushed the little bear underneath herself to warm him up. Between one “brr!” and another, sticking his nose out from his mom’s fur, Bobbo told her what he had done the day before, when he went beyond the pine tree. Then he told her about the second day, when he went to the squirrel’s tree.
