Chapter 4: How to Collect the Honey

By this point, you have gone through and done a lot of work with the bees. You have picked out the supplies that you want to uses when around the bees. You have gone and picked out the bees from the right seller and gotten them into their new beehive, hopefully during the early spring so that they have plenty of time to make their honey. Now that you are at the end of the year, it is time to get out there and collect the honey that the bees have been making.

Depending on the amount of bees you have and the honey they make, you may need to go through and work on collecting honey a few times. You need to make sure that you are leaving some of the honey behind so that the bees have enough food to get them through the winter without being hungry, but often bees will produce more honey than they need so you will be able to collect quite a bit of it.
