Wavetable Oscillator

The Wavetable Oscillator (see Figure 4.40) is a sample playback module.

With this module, you can load:

Individual samples, which are then played over the whole keyboard.

Multi-samples, which are played over specific ranges (and ideally you collect sufficient multi-samples to cover the whole keyboard range).

Wavetables, which are collections of waves so that you can create wave-sequencing types of effects. If you have loaded a wavetable, then the Wave slider will select which wave in the sequence plays. You can also automate this by using the Wavetable Modulation slot.

You can load samples by clicking on the Wave selector. This will open the Sample Loader dialog (see Figure 4.41), where you can load and arrange your samplesets.
