When Baby Elephant

says hello, she nuzzles

Mama Elephant

with her trunk.

When Baby Elephant is hungry,

she uses her trunk to find

tasty roots and leaves.

wants to cool down,

she flaps her big ears

back and forth.

When Baby Elephant calls

to her friends, she stamps her

feet and makes a tiny

trumpet sound.

When Baby Elephant plays,

she swims and splashes

in the water!

And when Baby Elephant’s day

is done, she follows her

family all the way home.
