Insert the opposite end of the wire through the opposite hole and trim the protruding wire to 1/8" (3mm). Using the cross-peen hammer, hammer the extending section to form another stopper. Repeat for the next piece of wire, this time threading ten beads onto it and repeat again with nine beads on the third wire.

Again, after the beads are on, trim the wire, leaving 1/8" (3mm) and splay the end with a cross-peen hammer.

TURN OFF THE SHINE

If you prefer your beads to be less shiny, immerse them in Armour Etch solution to make them as matte as you’d like before threading onto the wires. To add a bit of age to the beads after etching, apply a small amount of brown shoe polish with a short bristle brush, allow to dry and rub the pile of beads in a soft cloth.
