Pouring Clay

Pour into folds, pour lines through a bottle, or pour and scrape or scratch. Working with clay is a wonderfully physical art form. Using a powdered, air-drying clay is an easy way to do this, and you can mix as much as you need for your project while saving the rest for another day without having to worry about the clay drying out.

STEP 1 Mix powdered clay with 50 percent white glue and a little water.

STEP 2 Pour the clay onto your surface and spread it around to create folds.

STEP 3 You can also make folds with plastic wrap.
