3. Use your rotary cutter to cut a gentle curve through all 4 layers. I usually start in the lower left and cut from the bottom of the stack to the left side, creating an arc that looks a little like a slice of pizza.

4. Moving right, cut 2 more gentle curves in the squares. Aim for a variety of widths in each cut and don’t make the curve too severe or it will be harder to sew together.

With 4 fabrics, make 3 curved cuts.

5. Shuffle the blocks to put one of each fabric in each block. Leave the leftmost arc, the pizza slice, where it is. In the next arc to the right, move the top fabric to the bottom. Move the top 2 fabrics in the next stack to the right to the bottom, and the top 3 fabrics in the final stack to the bottom.
