Lost

How could I have promised him food? What was I thinking? I have no idea where the salmon are. None! I rock from side to side. I make the soft whistle my mother crooned to me when I was a youngling. How am I going to take care of Deneb and find salmon? I stopped watching him, just for a moment, and he ate wrong food.

Also, I cannot believe how much I sound like Aquila. I swore I would never be like her, but the moment the burden of wayfinding is mine, bossiness comes as naturally as breathing.

And worse than that, I am lost! It is bewildering. I know this coastline like I know my own skin. I scan the shore from above again. I click-stream the shape of it from below. Again.
