To search in Instagram, you can click on the icon that looks like a magnifying glass. The Magnifying Glass menu option helps users explore posts and news beyond their followers (see figure 6.4). There is a search bar at the top where

users can search for specific hashtags and usernames, or for subjects and keywords. Once you search, you can limit results to people, tags, places, or the top posts (based on likes and comments). The Explore area is often populated with posts and suggestions similar to those the user already follows. So, for example, if you follow lots of beauty and hairstyle Instagram accounts, you may see suggestions for those topics in the Explore area.
