22To attach the leaves to the main stem (see here) I place one leaf sprig about 9cm (3.5in) from the base of the flower and then a second sprig 1cm (0.4in) lower. I continue wrapping to ensure the stem looks even. You can wrap the stem again a couple of times from underneath the small leaf to the end of the stem, to make it thicker and consistent with the rest of the stem.

23You can now style the flower and bend the stem as you wish. I usually give the stem a little shape at each point that a leaf or flower comes off the main stem. You can also bring the flower-head down by gently pushing the wire forwards, directly underneath the flower. Adjust any petals so they sit nicely.
