Chapter 11: The Start of a Terrible Day

Monday couldn't come soon enough for Kevin. Normally, he disliked Mondays because it meant he was going back to school―and what regular high school faring male didn't dislike going to school?―but this weekend had been a nightmare. At least, as far as he was concerned. Lilian, on the other hand, had been positively beaming ever since Saturday morning before the start of that disaster of a shopping trip.

Scratch that, she had been pretty much ecstatic the entirety of last week whenever he was around. He didn't think he had ever seen her not acting like her usual, peppy self.

Lilian had somehow managed to get him out of Victoria's Secret after he had fainted there, and back home without incident. He didn't ask her how she had accomplished this rather impressive feat. In truth, he had no desire to know how she had done it, fearing that the knowledge would lead to him questioning his perceptions on the very fabrics upon which reality, the multiverse, and whatever other anime references to the complex, multidimensional universe that he could think of.

Several hours after he had fainted, Kevin had awakened on his bed, Lilian's lap being used as his pillow, and her fingers gently running through his hair. That had actually felt kind of nice, if a bit embarrassing. What hadn't been nice was what had happened after she realized he was awake.

The moment she noticed that her “Beloved” was once again in the land of the conscious, the girl had pulled him into a monstrous hug, the end result of which had been her smashing his face in her divine cleavage.

Basically, she had smothered him with her boobs. And while that probably sounds like every teenage male's fantasy it's not as pleasant as most would think. Especially if the story it happens in is based on tropes found in a Shōnen manga.

The Marshmallow Hell, as it has often been called, is a well-used trope found in various Japanese animations and manga and is a very dangerous technique. Not just for its appeal because the girl committing this nightmarish act of eroticism is usually quite sexy, but also because the male being introduced to the Marshmallow Hell will usually find himself incapable of breathing.

Death by boob asphyxiation. What a way to go.

In any event, having his face shoved into the bosom of the red-haired beauty had not only caused Kevin's face to turn blue from a lack of oxygen, but also forced him to remember what happened just hours prior at the lingerie store. The combination of not getting enough oxygen to his brain and said brain going into overdrive as it conjured up images of what shall forever be known as “The Lingerie Disaster” caused him to end up unconscious... again. It wasn't until he woke up for the third (he had passed out at least once more after getting asphyxiated by Lilian's cleavage) time that he actually managed to keep himself from falling into that blissful darkness where no fox-girls could shower him with their, ahem, affection.
