“Don’t cry, Honey,” Mama Bird said. “You are not too small. No one is ever too small to offer help.”

“Then why does it always go wrong when I try to help somebody?” Honey sniffed and allowed Mama Bird to wrap her in a big, feathery hug.

“Honey, your heart is in the right place. Be patient and watchful. Someday, you will find someone who needs help that only you can offer.”

Mama nudged Honey out of the nest and told her to go play.

Honey flew around sadly, feeling sorry for all of the trouble she had caused that day.
