Instructions:

Find a large pallet to use as the framework. If you are making this for a queen-sized bed or larger, you will want long stringers. Many industrial companies will have extra pallets of this size.

For a queen-sized mattress, you will need multiple deck boards of at least 40″ in length to assure you do not see where the boards end. It is not as necessary with this project to find boards that are exactly the same width, color, or look, so pick out whichever boards you like and sand them smooth.
