Everyone followed the Troodons to the lake. Skating seemed like a great thing to do while waiting for the Festival of Lights!

Travis and Mr. Pteranodon went out on the ice first to make sure it was safe.

“This is frozen solid,” Mr. Pteranodon reported.

“Hooray!” cheered the kids.

Shiny was the first to start skating. She did a fancy spin.

Next was Tiny. She also did a spin but landed in a very different way. Thud!

“I’m just trying not to fall down,” Buddy said, laughing, as he slipped and slid over the frozen lake.
