Beaded Strand

1. Use 1 brass head pin to string 1 brass leaf crimp-end eye with the pin exiting toward the tip of the leaf; string 1 size 11° seed bead (A), 1 peanut bead (B), 1 polymer clay round, 1B, and 1A; form a wrapped loop.

2. Repeat Step 1 twice using 2 silver head pins and 2 silver leaf crimp-end eyes. Repeat again using 1 copper head pin and 1 copper leaf crimp-end eye.

3. Use 1 copper head pin to string 1 copper leaf crimp-end eye, 1A, 1B, the lampwork-glass round, 1B, and 1A; form a wrapped loop.

4. Use 1 brass head pin to string 1 brass leaf crimp-end eye with the pin exiting toward the tip of the leaf, 1A, 1B, 1A, 1 polymer clay rondelle, 1A, 1B, and 1A; form a wrapped loop.

5. Use 1 brass head pin to string the crimp-end hook with the pin exiting the crimp-end, 1A, 1B, 1A, 1 polymer clay rondelle, 1A, 1B, and 1A; form a wrapped loop.

6. Use 6" (15 cm) of beading wire to string 1 crimp tube and the eye of the first brass leaf link formed in Step 1. Pass the wire back through the tube and crimp the tube with crimping pliers.

TIP: Before crimping the second crimp of any of the strung sections, make sure that the wire isn’t twisted so that all the leaf ends face right side up.
