The dynamics of the group are respected by all: participants need only agree that it is worth their time to read the Bible with others.

Christians in the group take seriously the importance of interpersonal relationships in the communication of the gospel. They support the facilitator, but never try to show superior knowledge and answer all the questions, or try to ‘preach the whole gospel’. They may be asked to comment or give a brief testimony.

2 I t is a group that meets in a home, in a familiar, informal atmosphere. This provides these additional benefits:

It avoids the common rejection of the Church as an institution, especially by people from a different religious background. Not having to enter a church building, people do not have to pass an artificial or religious barrier to hear the gospel.

All members are known personally; they are not simply part of the mass of people seated in a stadium for an evangelistic rally with stirring music and an emotional appeal.
