Difficulties sleeping due to light sensitivity

From now on, that part of me that has been paying far too much attention to the amount of light in the room, that part of me that has been irritated and upset by the room’s light, is going to pay less and less attention to that light. I will still be aware that the lighting is there, and that sometimes the lights appear to flicker a little or are too bright. But I will cease to pay very much attention to this light, just as if that part of me was extremely alert before but has now become dulled, unable to devote much attention to any light in the room. I will be able to settle and prepare to sleep without noticing the light very much, as if it has become further away. This light simply won’t bother me any more.
