Removing yourself from the situation has a magical ability to bring out the “L” Word in a man. This is because in becoming slightly unavailable, you reactivate his Pursue Gene, which keeps him interested. This strategy works every time, because it causes dopamine and testosterone to surge through a man's veins. Your absence creates a space in which he realizes that he needs to take action to deepen the relationship rather than risk losing you.
