Square your hips and shoulders forwards to the long edge of your mat, keeping your shoulders directly above your hips and your torso upright and facing forwards.

Raise your arms to shoulder level with your palms facing down, extend through the fingers and lower your shoulders from your ears, softening your upper back.

Turn your head to the right, taking your gaze out over the middle finger of your right hand. Bend your right knee so it is stacked above your ankle, ensuring the knee does not extend beyond the ankle and is not rolling inwards. You should feel a stretch to your inner thigh here.
