For the marinade: In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, ginger, and salt and pepper to taste. Add the pork and marinate, refrigerated, for at least 2 hours or overnight. Remove the pork from the marinade, discard the marinade, and pat the pork dry. Heat a grill, grill pan, or broiler to medium-high and cook the pork until browned on the edges and nearly cooked through, 5 to 8 minutes. The cooking time will depend on the size of the pieces and the heat of the cooking method.
For the sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and jalapeño, and sauté until fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the cumin, paprika, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the half-and-half or cream, and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Add the pork cubes and simmer until cooked through, about 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish with cilantro.
