STEP 1

Tape together about 6 to 10 sheets of paper to make one large piece.

STEP 2

Turn over the large sheet of paper so that the tape is on the back. Paint a tree trunk in the center.

OUTLINE THE TREE TRUNK WITH PAINT, AND THEN HAVE YOUR CHILD FILL IT IN WITH COLOR!

STEP 3

While the paint dries, begin making your leaf rubbings. Place a leaf, vein-side up, on your surface. Place a sheet of paper on top. Rub a crayon over the sheet of paper positioned on top of the leaf.

STEP 4

Continue using different crayon colors to make about 40 to 50 leaves for your tree. Cut out the leaves.
