I torture myself for two days.

Tito. Ronin. Ronin. Tito.

Which one should I pick? Should I choose or just let them both go? Will choosing one of them ruin their relationship?

I have no idea what to do.

I have to pick one of them or none of them.

There’s Ronin. He’s so sweet and thoughtful and just the kind of guy I can picture myself growing old with. He’s the safe choice, the good choice.

Or there’s Tito. He puts his foot in his mouth more than a baby, but the other things he can do with that mouth… mmm… that sexy smirk. His smart sarcastic mouth. He’s the wildcard choice. Also, the good choice.

This is so hard.

“Which one kisses better?” Sophie asks. We’re at work and she’s helping me get to the bottom of this.

I lean back in my chair and think about it. “Ronin’s kiss was so soft and gentle. It made me feel so special and loved. It was incredible.” I get warm shivers just thinking about it.

“That’s good,” Sophie says as she chews on the tip of her pen. “And what about Tito?”

I take a deep breath and sigh as a smile creeps across my face. “It was so passionate. It was sexy and dirty in a good way. It was like kissing the bad boy your mom warned you against.”

“That’s good too,” Sophie says, contemplating my answers. “In my expert opinion, you should totally shag both of them.”

My back straightens and I let out a frustrated sigh. There are rules of society for a reason. I’m not breaking them by being with two guys, even though it sounds extremely tempting.

“Not an option,” I answer. “I have to pick one.”

“Why?”

“What would people say if I dated both of them?”

Sophie laughs. “They would say, ‘that’s the luckiest girl I’ve ever seen.’”

I scoff. “Yeah, right.”

“They would say, ‘I’ll have what she’s having.’”

“No,” I say, shaking my head. “They would think I’m a sexual maniac.”

“And what’s wrong with that?”

She doesn’t understand. Sophie doesn’t care what the world thinks. She paints her fingernails different colors for God’s sake.

“I think I’ll have to let them both go.”

Sophie just shakes her head. “I was afraid you were going to say that.”

“Well, what can I do? I like them both, but I can’t pick one of them and watch as their relationship falls apart because of me.”

My heart starts to pang just thinking about breaking up with them.

I had such an amazing time with Ronin on our date. It was the most romantic day I’ve ever had and I really want to do it again. I want to get to know him better over beautiful candlelight dinners and long talks.

And the date with Tito was just as good.
