As I sit writing this I look down at my feet to see my companion Mauvree. I look into her soft brown eyes, feeling the love my black Labrador friend sends to me. I asked Mauvree once what was her favorite thing to do. “Anything I can do with you,” she answered.
“Who am I to deserve such love, such loyalty?” I ask.
“My person,” she answers. I close my eyes in reverent gratitude.
