7 Place the stamping on the scrap wood. Using the awl and hammer, create an indentation for the drill to penetrate.

8 Using the drill with 1/16 (1.6mm) drill bit, drill through the point created by the awl.

9 To add a metal stamping to the back of the bezel, sand the back of the resin piece slightly to rough it up. Place a dollop of E600 on the bezel and let it sit for two minutes. Adhere the bezel to the metal stamping and allow to dry for 24 hours.

10 Thread the 4mm jump ring through the drilled hole (see Opening and Closing Jump Rings on page 12).

11 Drill the remaining resin pieces. Place the bezel onto a piece of wood and add a piece of packing tape over the bezel to secure it. Using a drill fitted with a 1/16 (1.6mm) drill bit, drill a hole through the top center.

12 With the silver bale in the open position, place the teeth through the drilled hole. Using a pair of flat-nose pliers, squeeze the bale to secure it.

Tip

When pulling the drill bit out of the resin, do not pull the bit straight out; instead use the reverse function on the drill.
