It seems like that’s a revolving door,” Pete says, indicating the entryway to Damian’s hospital room. “But I think it’s best if I stay put while you ladies have your visit.”

“Always the peace keeper,” Andrea states and gets a harsh look from the man she subbed for before the love of his life returned and claimed his heart, body, and soul. “Sorry” she says as she clears her throat and lowers her head like a true submissive. Andrea remembers all too well the punishments Pete Roman loves to deliver. His were almost as harsh as Megan’s.

“Better, let’s keep that in check ladies, all of you. Damian and I might not be the Doms that played you, but we still expect to be treated as such. Now, what brings you all here and does Sydney know?”

“We heard that Damian was in the hospital and that it was serious,” Lexi says.

“Cindy called me, and I called them” Tori nods in the direction of the other girls.

“And Syd?”

“She doesn’t know,” Veronica says. “She still thinks that I’ve only ever been his personal assistant. I’m not sure how she’d feel if she knew that I was one of the pack. And now’s probably not the best time for her to find out.”

“One of the pack?” Pete questions.

Whitney answers. “We tend to stick together and sometimes we like to give ourselves a name.”

“Do you now?” Pete laughs then feels the vibration of his cell in his pants. “Excuse me, that’s Raina. She just had a baby.”

“We heard” the girls moan in unison.

Pete chuckles at their response and accepts the call with a finger over his lips to keep them silent. The last thing he needs is his wife any more upset than she needs to be after giving birth. The news about Damian was more than she could handle. Finding out that her husband is standing in a room, only a few floors above her, with women he’s fucked in more nasty ways than he cares to remember, would be asking too much from the new mother.

“Hey Rain, you okay, baby? And how’s my other favorite girl?”

The girls can’t hear Raina’s end of the conversation, but they see the smile cross Pete’s face and feel true happiness for the man that spent many nights fulfilling their wildest imaginations.

“I’ll be up in two minutes and I’ll calm her down so you can have a rest. Maybe one of my backrubs will help…Yes, I know you’d rather have me rub your…” Pete clears his throat, remembering the women listening in. “But you know what the doctor said…I love you, I’ll be right there.”

Pete smiles happily at the women in the room, remembering fond times with almost every one of them. Then he turns to his friend and sends a sad smile his way. “Raina’s having a hard time nursing and calming Aubrey down. You ladies behave yourselves with him, hear me?”

The women nod in his direction then proceed to surround Damian’s bed as Pete exits the room hoping that they’ll be gone before Sydney returns.
