These are the 5in and Bofors anti-aircraft guns for Indianapolis, built up and ready for painting. The recast resin parts for the 5in guns needed a bit of trimming and the barrels had to be bent a little straighter. They are not perfect, but somewhat better than the plastic parts in the kit. For the quad Bofors, I used the Niko resin parts for the mounting. A cut with a razor saw was required to enable the footplate at the rear to fit easily. The gun barrels came from the Voyager Bofors set, because I thought that the Niko barrels did not look entirely even. I am glad that the model does not call for the shields to be fitted to the mounting, because they would have hidden much of the moulded detail on the front.
