Gather half the sleeve at a time. Gather the back half of the sleeve from the back notches to the dots and then from the dots to the top of the sleeve cap. For the front half of the sleeve, gather from the front notches to the dots and then from the dots up to the top of the sleeve.

By gathering the sleeve section by section, you can distribute the fullness evenly, working from one small area to the next.
