Interesting Facts: Snow College is affiliated with Julliard School of Music in New York. It was named after Lorenzo Snow. Although Ephraim has a college, an elementary school, and a middle school, it does not have a high school. High school students attend school in Manti, 7 miles south. The nearest hospital is 13 miles north in Mt. Pleasant.

Pros: Great hunting and fishing opportunities. Outstanding public education system. Two colleges.

Cons: More earthquake activity in the area than in most of the United States. Six small earthquakes within a 50-mile radius in the last 20 years. Arid, with less than 13 inches annual rainfall. As with most cities in Utah, a single religion, Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (Mormon) predominates.
