1. Do you know any other examples of people who live in fear from false gods or try to protect themselves through pointless practices? Examples may come from other countries or from superstitious people right in your own social network.

2. Which actions of Jesus have reduced your fear of life’s unpredictabilities and death? Which fears do the general population have that you don’t have because of Jesus?

3. How could you take action to make the point to others that they are playing pointless games to deal with their fear? Be specific about the method, the location, and the target audience. Actions are louder than words.
