5 Mix a darker green for the trees, using Sap Green, Phthalo Blue and a little Raw Sienna. Using the no. 6 brush, carefully paint around the outside edge of the building’s roof, then develop the trees upwards; these need to be quite dark. If your trees are not dark enough, do not worry; you can give them another coat later. Dilute this colour, then continue with the trees on the left – paler, and smaller, as they are farther away. Leave a small triangle shape unpainted, for the building near the pump.
