1 Round the corners of the aluminum piece, and file the edges smooth. Hammer in letters to create words of your choice. Apply black paint, removing the excess but allowing paint to remain in the grooves. Punch a hole in each corner of the tag and set eyelets, as described on page 31.
2 Cut out two pieces of denim and one piece of felt, using the template on page 124. Sandwich the felt between the layers of denim. Blanket stitch around the edges in the embroidery floss to join the layers together.
3 Sew the aluminum tag onto the fabric cuff using embroidery floss and working in over hand stitch.
