Ripening nutrients

Ripening nutrients are used in the later stages of flowering, once there are flowers to ripen! It is very important that you use these products; it gives you that extra resin potency and a more dense bud. In this case, since you use only a little bit at a time with a full dose of flower nutrient, plus the proper cleaning with my leaching process, I suggest using the synthetic products. They give you that extra edge in potency and density to top off your garden before harvest. The organic and bio-organic nutrients do a great job too, but they can’t compete with the synthetics’ overall power. Remember to ease the ripening formula in to the feeding by starting with a small dose to start. Most ripening formulas are applied during week five to seven, or until the bud is totally ripe.

Also look for a pre-ripening product, to be used mainly during weeks three and four. Be sure to use products all from the same company, as you risk a bad reaction between the products if you don’t. Do not mix companies unless you know that the products work well together. Pre-ripening formulas promote extra flowering on the branches and are also used early in the flowering process.
