Heading for Tab Curtains

For tab curtains, we’ll need to cut two heading pieces (four for tier over tier style) to line the top portion of the two curtain panels.

Option 1

If you can get two headings from one width of fabric (i.e., the finished width plus 3 inches is less than or equal to half of the fabric width) match up the selvage edges of the fabric.

Option 2

If not, double the fabric just enough to accommodate 6¼-inch length. Cut through top fold.

Step 1: Measure 6¼ inches from the unfinished top edge of the fabric, mark, and cut.
