For the Spice Blend

2 teaspoons fresh, coarsely ground black pepper

2 teaspoons chili powder

2 teaspoons celery seeds

2 teaspoons dried thyme

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon sweet paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1½ teaspoons kosher salt
