Our next topic we will move onto will be some guitar warm up exercises.

GUITAR WARM UP EXERCISES

Now as a beginner I remember how hard it was to try and get fluidity in my playing.

When I first started playing, I remember that my fingers and my hands were so sore. Sore enough that it can be compared to after workout sores. Some chords ask you to contort your fingers and use your fingers in a way that we have never used them before. That's why the instrument feels alien when we first start. Our tendons and muscles in the palms of our hands can feel sore and tight.

Callouses can also make it painful. Remember, don't play until you bleed!

Despite what all the stupid songs say, if you play until you bleed it means the longer you have to rest and that's more hours you have to rest and not play the guitar.
