For a double duvet (comforter) cover, from green patterned cotton fabric, cut:

• One 203 x 43 cm (80 x 17 in) rectangle for the flap

• 80 x 2.5 cm (31½ x 1 in) wide bias strip for button loops

For a single duvet (comforter) cover, from cream cotton sheeting fabric, cut:

• One 143 x 43 cm (56¼ x 17 in) rectangle for the flap

• One 193 x 143 cm (76 x 56¼ in) rectangle for the front

• One 203 x 143 cm (80 x 56¼ in) rectangle for the back

For a double duvet (comforter) cover, from cream cotton sheeting fabric, cut:

• One 203 x 43 cm (80 x 17 in) rectangle for the flap

• One 193 x 203 cm (76 x 80 in) rectangle for the front

• One 203 cm (80 in) square for the back
