6 PACK MIXTURE BETWEEN TWO BOXES
Use a two-by-four to tightly pack hypertufa mixture between boxes to form the planter’s walls.
9 UNVEILING PLANTER’S FEET
Once the cast planter has cured, remove the remaining cardboard box and Styrofoam cross to reveal the feet.
10 SMOOTHING AND FINISHING PLANTER’S LOWER EDGES AND FEET
Use metal hardware cloth, a rasp, or a rough file to scrape, smooth, and finish the cast planter’s edges.
This millstone is part of the stone wall in my woodland garden. The ferns took it upon themselves to start growing through the stone’s empty center.
