Ahead is a not unusual house. Small, a decent front porch, not much else to say about it. ELSA pulls into the driveway, stops the car, kills the motor. They get out.

ELSA

I’m sure this is right-the key will be in the drainpipe.

BABE

Szell’s?

ELSA

(didn’t quite hear)

Szells?

BABE

Oh come on.

ELSA

You’re very tired; better I get the key. (She starts up toward the house.)

BABE

(calling after her)

What did you do for Szell?

ELSA

I hope the key is where it’s supposed to be—
