Most days I go to work with Mom, a horse trainer. I never take my eyes off the kids during their lessons. When a rider falls, I’m the first one there. I lick her face until she responds, then I straddle her so she won’t move until Mom says it’s okay. At home I try to spend time with Dad since I don’t see him during the day. If Dad sits on the sofa, I sit next to him. Like Dad, I put my butt on the couch and my feet on the floor. I help Mom, and I copy Dad to show them both how much I love them.

This herding breed was used to keep sheep in unfenced areas. They were named for the French province of Brie, although this isn’t believed to be their province of origin.
