Dino-Mike felt defeated. He knew that he had no choice but to give up the high-tech hoodie. He just needed one thing first.

“Before I give you the jacket,” he told Mr. Bones, “I want to see that my friends are okay.”

“No!” Mr. Bones responded. “You have no choice here. I’m not falling for tricks.” He held out his hand. “The jacket. Now.”

Dino-Mike started to unzip his jacket. As he did, he looked around for any sign of his friends. All he saw were dinosaurs in various space suits and ones with invisible suits.

Wait a minute, he suddenly thought, maybe my Dino Jacket can become invisible too!

He’d never considered the possibility before. Why would he have? But now, that possibility seemed like the only way out.

Mike zipped his jacket back up. “Wait a second,” he started. “How do I know my friends are really okay?”

“You don’t,” said Mr. Bones. “Now stop stalling!” He stepped closer to Mike with an outstretched hand. “Give me the jacket. Right now!”

“What happens if it’s not here?” asked Mike.

“What?” asked Mr. Bones. “Don’t play any games with me, kid. I don’t have time for it.”

“It’s not a game,” said Dino-Mike. He smiled and then … disappeared.
