Instructions

1.Cut plastic canvas according to graphs. Base will remain unstitched.

2.Stitch sides and handles following graphs, overlapping sides where indicated, then working stitches through both layers.

3.Using Christmas red through step 5, loosely Whipstitch all edges of “darts” together between red arrows, easing as necessary to fit.

4.Overcast handles and top edges of basket. Whipstitch bottom edges of basket to base, placing seams at ends of base.

5.Using photo as a guide, and with right sides together, tack handle ends about 1½ inches apart to ends of basket at top edge.
