Chapter Ten

Desire to make love to Merin, on the couch while Alonzo watched, seared Callin to the bone it was so strong. Alonzo was right. She is a Rider or something besides that. Whatever she is, she has no idea of it. Her element is fire. That is one reason we spark together. The lust that consumed him normally came when he and his lover were in bed together and playing with the fire. Now it had all three of them. The flames were reflected in Alonzo’s eyes and now in the woman’s on the sofa. He nipped her earlobe and plunged his tongue into her ear only to hear her cry out.

“Do you want us, angela? Will you give yourself over to the fire?” Alonzo asked.

Her fingers dug into his hand, but he didn’t let go even when her nails drew blood. He knew that she needed the connection to them. He needed the connection to remain sane. Alonzo ran his finger down her arm. Merin’s back bowed off the sofa.

In his dreams, he saw all three of them entwined in one another’s arms. His power raced through him and it seemed he would burst into flame at any minute, but he held back, not wanting to frighten Merin. Besides, he didn’t know if the fire would burn her or not. He stood before her. She locked her arms around his waist and raked her fingers down his back. Her lips kissed a small line around his navel and then the wetness of her tongue encircled his belly button. Her strong hands grasped his ass. He leaned over and captured Alonzo’s lips with his own, plunging his tongue into his lover’s mouth. He caught the surprise from the other man and then he returned the kiss and deepened it.

He was aware that Merin began unzipping his jeans and pulled them down. She planted small kisses along his erection through the material of his jockeys. He groaned and pulled away from Alonzo. At that moment, he began unbuttoning Merin’s blouse to feel her breasts in his hands.
