Stapling

A method of oining two flat sheets of wood together, this stapling process would also work using acrylic sheet as one of the layers if you want to combine a wood sheet with a plastic. However, bear in mind that if you use translucent acrylic, the wires will show.

• Walnut sheet, chosen size, 3/16-in (5-mm) thick

• Piercing saw

• 4/0 metal saw blade

• Fine file

• Rough file

• Silver wire, 1 ¾ x 3/64 in (45 x 1.2 mm)

• Dust mask and goggles

• End cutting pliers

• Round-nose pliers

• Parallel pliers

• Flat plate

• Hammer

• Polishing bit

• Micromotor

• White paint

• Microcrystalline wax
