4. Hold the center mark on the wire against size 1 on a ring mandrel with the top of the Regal Loops facing toward the mandrel. Shape the wire around the mandrel, crossing the Regal Loops. Remove from the ring mandrel and remove the permanent marker mark. Set aside (figure 2).

5. Outside Frame: Straighten and flush-cut 5½" (14 cm) of 18-gauge square dead-soft wire. Mark the center with a permanent marker. With flat-nose pliers, make a bend on the mark, creating a wide V.

6. Make Regal Loops on each wire end with 5mm and 2mm bail-making or round-nose pliers, with the loops going toward the outside of the V.

7. Hold the bend against size 15 on a ring mandrel and shape the wire around the mandrel until the Regal Loops touch. Remove from the ring mandrel and remove the permanent marker mark (figure 3).
