Chapter Seven

Watson wanted to die. He wanted to sink into a hole and never be seen by anyone or anything ever again, because this entire pride of lions had heard him fucking his two mates.

He didn’t think of himself as a prude, but he wasn’t like other shifters where he wanted to walk around in the nude, and he definitely didn’t want anyone hearing him moaning and coming.

One time the neighbors had told him they’d heard him jerking off and that had traumatized him for life. He had been fifteen at the time, and they the same age as him, so yeah, mortifying.

Never mind those bastards did it almost openly, but they knew it bothered Watson.

Was it worse that he didn’t know these people? It seemed worse. This was his first impression here, and now it was going to be one where everyone had heard him getting off.

Mattis and Chronos quickly dressed. Chronos complained that he needed to wear Mattis’s clothes and how they were too small for him,

Watson had no idea what the guy was talking about, they looked to be almost the same height and build. Watson could barely tell the other man was bigger than Mattis at all, and that was only after really examining them.

He had to get dressed in the dirty clothes he came here in, but at least he had something. He wished he could shower. He didn’t want anyone smelling the sex on him, either.

“Don’t be embarrassed,” Mattis said, putting his arm around Watson’s shoulders. “It’s going to be fine. They’ll love you.”

“Sure.” He was definitely not sure about that.

Why was he even here again?

Oh yeah, Basil.

Fuck. He was in so much shit. He was supposed to be here to visit his friend, get some moral support, and then go back home so he could do his duty to the pack and marry Belmont.

And he’d just fucked two guys.

He was a bad person. He was going to hell because he was a cheater and… well, he supposed he and Belmont weren’t really together until they got married, but still. This amazing experience suddenly seemed a little more tainted.

Chronos waited until he was ready before opening the door, but even then, he stood in front of Watson as though waiting to make sure he was actually ready to be seen.

“Hey, Cerberus, how’s it going?”

Though Watson really didn’t want to be seen, and he was still humiliated to hell and back, part of him was still curious about the people here. He was second in command of his own pack just because he was his father’s son. It was a title only, so he’d never actually met with Cerberus before. Which was why he leaned to the side a little to see what the male looked like.

Tall. Watson thought Chronos was tall. No. Cerberus was even bigger, with a big mane of full hair.

What was it with lions and their stupid hair? He didn’t understand.

“Do you have a wolf in here?” Cerberus caught Watson’s eye, and Watson found himself freezing up a little.
