Materials

• Brown Sheep Co. Nature Spun medium (worsted) weight yarn (3½ oz/245 yds/100g per skein):

9 skeins each #N78 turquoise wonder and #101 burnt sienna

• Size J/10/6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• Tapestry needle

• 12-inch square pillow form: 2

Gauge

16 sts = 4 inches; 10 rows = 4 inches

Chain-2 at beginning of row or round counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Make 3.

Row 1: With burnt sienna, ch 30, dc in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs count as first dc) and in each ch across, turn. (28 dc)

Row 2 (RS): Ch 2 (see Pattern Notes), fpdc (see Stitch Guide) around each of next 2 sts, [bpdc (see Stitch Guide) around each of next 2 sts, fpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn. Fasten off.

Row 3: Join (see Pattern Notes) turquoise wonder in first st, ch 2, bpdc around each of next 2 sts, [fpdc around each of next 2 sts, bpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn.

Row 4: Ch 2, fpdc around each of next 2 sts, [bpdc around each of next 2 sts, fpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn. Fasten off.

Row 5: Join burnt sienna in first st, ch 2, fpdc around each of next 2 sts, [bpdc around each of next 2 sts, fpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn.

Row 6: Ch 2, bpdc around each of next 2 sts, [fpdc around each of next 2 sts, bpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn. Fasten off.

Row 7: Join turquoise wonder in first st, ch 2, fpdc around each of next 2 sts, [bpdc around each of next 2 sts, fpdc around each of next 2 sts] across, ending with hdc in last st, turn.
