CLOSING PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, you were in command of countless myriads of angels, yet you came to us as a helpless child. Teach me that same humility, so that with you I may rise to glory.

The Lord of hosts is with us

As the psalm says, not just an angel, not just a host of angels, but the Lord of all the angels is with us—the Lord who came to make us equal to the angels. What can we possibly fear, St. Augustine asks, if we have the Lord himself on our side?
