I was looking forward to showing Good Form to Jimmy Browne on the morrow. He knows everything there is to know about horses. He’s practically lived with them since he was two years old. I don’t think there can be anyone quite as expert at making jumpers pick their feet up as Jimmy. No horse can fool him. Though most of his own animals are fairly heavily built, he has a good eye for a lightweight and I thought he would probably like Good Form. “Yes, I shall jump her all the summer. And then make a pretty penny when I sell her in the autumn,” I said.
